Summary
About a million years in the future, on a planet far beyond our reach, there is a prince named Stephenson Ken Royden who is about to have his world turned around by everything he never knew existed- and it all starts on his 12th birhtday.
SpaceAges is the story of a young prince, Stephenson Ken Royden, and the son of alien diplomats, Spacey Cosmos. What started as a regular trip to the planet of Honyum turns disastrous as a huge wave crashes into the castle and washed the 2 boys out to sea and onto the Isles of Enchantica. Now lost in this strange new environment with no way home, the two must rely on each other and the witches who live on the island to try and find a way back.
History
SpaceAges is a concept I have had since mid 2017, but the earliest version of the current plot originated in early 2018.
On January 24th of that year, I opened up a document and began typing the now 33 chapter first draft of the whole thing. Back then, it was meant to take the form of a novel. I was really into writing back then, even bringing the project to a local writer’s group. It was a daunting project to take on at the age of 15, and it wasn’t until after my 17th birthday that the first draft was “completed” with a rushed final chapter written out of obligation more than anything.
However, the entire time I had been writing the words down on the pages, something inside of me knew that the story would be more naturally suited for animation.
At the time, I had convinced myself that animation was something far beyond my capabilities. The few times I had tried had been bogged down by my lack of confidence in myself or my drawings. I had always told myself that after the book had been published and generated some interest that I could hire a team to animate it for me.
Finally, Some Action
But the longer I went on writing it, the less I enjoyed it. The story got muddled and I could never quite find the right words to describe the dynamic the two shared. (Granted, in that draft Spacey and Stephenson may have well been enemies)
I began to draw more during this time I needed something to base the scenes in my head off of. I came up with character designs that have miraculously stayed recognizable throughout it all and played around with the different personalities and traits the characters may have. Believe it or not, Spacey was once the one with a more childish demeanor and Stephenson was a snobby prince-type. That time in my life helped me figure out who the characters were meant to be and what kind of worlds they belonged to much easier than anything I had done before.
It was this love of drawing the characters and visibly seeing the spaces they were in that finally helped convince me to pick a software and learn how to animate. Now, in the year 2022, I’m finally laying the groundwork for the animated series that will hopefully be released on YouTube sometime in the next couple of years.

As of today, the first teaser trailer for the animated webseries has been released. Popping off at 25 views after the first day! Honestly, I’m really happy with those numbers and I hope they continue to go up as I work more on the series. 30 seconds have been completed. While I’m confident in my ability to animate the first episode, my main concern right now is sound design and voice acting. I can’t pull off every voice in the show like I first thought and there is no way I can teach myself how to compose a theme song in a reasonable amount of time. Here’s to hoping for the best in the months to come!

It’s May 2022! I’ve hit 42 seconds on the pilot and I’ve been promo’ing the show more on platforms like Twitter and Instagram! If you’re reading this because of those platforms, Hello! I’ve found a more concrete voice for Stephenson and Jackson. I have also confirmed that my best friend will be voicing Spacey! I haven’t made any progres with the Ko-Fi I’ve set up but my hopes are still high!

June 2022 has arrived!! And with it the first minute of the show!! I’m so happy right now. It kinda feels like my dreams are coming true before my eyes. Things are looking really good at the moment for a November release date, however I am moving soon so that may cause a delay in the upcoming months. I’m also happy at the timing up til this point! Funnily enough, Spacey is introduced exactly 1 minute into the show. I didn’t plan this from the start but I’m just going to pretend I did XD. I didn’t account for the title screen or anything though, so it’s definitely gonna be off in the actual video. I love you all peeps! Til the next update!

Holy heck it’s July already?? What’s up peeps? The summer heat has been killing me but production is still going! I am at 1 minute and 15 seconds! The November release date I planned seems kinda like a stretch now but that doesn’t mean I’m giving up! I got my best friend to record some test lines for Spacey and I recorded more Stephenson lines! It still makes me so happy to see the story come to life. I’m so excited to share the pilot with the world when it’s ready. I’ll see you next update peeps! love you all!
It’s August everybody! The heat still sucks but with fall on the horizon I’ve kept my spirits up. Unfortunately though, SpaceAges Production has had a setback. As some of you may know, I’m animating the whole thing on Procreate on my iPad. Earlier this month my Apple pen starting dying on me after 2 years of being my main art tool. While it does still function it does make quality control much harder. The project currently sits at 1 minute and 23 seconds, I’m hoping to get a replacement as soon as I get a paycheck from the new job I’m starting. Might have to push for a December release date, SpaceAges holidays anyone? I love and appreciate you all Peeps, thanks for sticking with me here! Til Next month!
IT’S SEPTEMBER ALREADY?! Peeps!!! Hello!! I’ve gotten my pen repaired and did as much as I could with the time I had this month! SpaceAges is at 1:33 minutes!! I’ve also made a separate twitter account for all things SpaceAges (and Lunieverse) related! the handle is @TheLunieverse. I’ve also gotten storyboards done for most of the episode! Honestly- It’s a bit more than I thought it would be- but I’m super excited for it! The November release date however… It’s almost wishful thinking at this point heh. But I’ll still try my best! If I must push it back however, I was thinking I could release it on my birthday in mid-February. Let me know what you think Peeps!! On the YouTube front, one of my videos unexpectedly blew up and doubled our subscriber count this month! We are currently sitting at 49! I’m so grateful for all the support Peeps! ITS OCTOBER!! BOO! Happy spooky season Peeps! This month is filled with both tricks AND treats on the SpaceAges production front! On the treat side of things: The LunieLoon channel is sitting at a comfy 52 subscribers! Welcome to those new Peeps! Animation progress has also been picking up speed! So far, animation on the show is at 1 minute and 46 seconds! And now for the trick side of things… I’m officially admitting defeat to the self-made November deadline I’ve set for myself. The new release date is to be announced. (We are most likely looking at an early to mid 2023 release date though.) This project is definitely a big task for one person but I refuse to give up! Of course this won’t affect any miscellaneous uploads on the channel or Instagram/Twitter posts. I am also looking for more ways to promote the show and get some more hype for it! I’m going to make it no matter what, but sometimes it’s nice to have people be excited for it. That’s all for this month Peeps! I love you all, see you next month!
NOVEMBER ALREADY?!? Hiiiii Peeps! So a ton has happened this month; let’s start with the stats! SpaceAges has officially hit 2 minutes of completed animation!! We are sitting at 2 Mins and 2 Seconds of completed animation, as well as another few seconds of incomplete animation! More good news: The first episode has been completely boarded out! We’re looking at a little over 3 minutes for the premiere, as well as some of episode 2 being boarded as well! The LunieLoon Channel sits at 60 subscribers! And The Lunieverse Twitter page is at 13 followers! IN EVEN MORE GOOD NEWS: I MOVED OUT! My best friend and I have finally found a decent, affordable place in the economic hell that is California and we’ve been moved in for 2 weeks! That does mean SpaceAges has taken a bit of a productivity hit, but rest assured I’m not quitting on this project! Thank you so much for being here and supporting my silly lil cartoon, Peeps! SpaceAges episode 1 came out on Feb 18th, 2023 as planned! With 298 views to date! The channel also grew to 215 subscribers!!! Along with 233 tiktok followers!
